Scrabbling around in the toybox to find some CG losses, my eyes light on a particular stock that hasn't done well and I was planning to get rid of anyway. Oh bks it's in an ISA....

I'm pretty sure a capital loss within an ISA can't be used to offset CG liability but thought I'd check here just to make sure...


ETA: Apologies for the phrase 'capital gain loss' but you know what I mean

You can stop grasping at straws, unfortunately you cannot use a loss in an isa to offset a gain elsewhere...
