Which platform to buy US shares in the UK?

If I wanted to buy a small amount of US shares to hold long term, which platform is recommended, please? This would be <£500.

For that amount you'd want no fees so jsut t212. 0.45% currency charge now thats about it. I'll send you a link through PH email

Revolut also offer it - not sure on the variety / if all stocks are available - but the big ones I was looking at were.

T212 aren't allowing new accounts at the moment, but have signed up for a notification of when that restarts. Thanks for the link.

etoro should also fit the bill. The only fee, so long as you don't leverage, is $5 to withdraw funds.

OK thanks, only took a quick glance previously so I'll have a close look.

ps, does leveraging = CFD?

I asked a similar question on PH, and now use Freetrade. All seems very straightforward, and the app is good.

Thanks, just been looking at etoro, seems quite a few users are having issues so won't do any harm to look at alternatives.
