Need some advice for a bmw 116i.

I'm currently in the process of cleaning up my car to sell but I've been getting alot of mixed prices ranging from 5k to 9k. So I'm asking you guys if I was to sell private would I be better off? As I know the qoutes I've been getting doesn't actually mean I'll get that price.
Its a white 2013 plate bmw 116i, ive had the windows blacked out front and back and it's only done 26,668 miles. I bought it 3 years ago and it had only done 12,004 miles with I previous owner. Its had a recent service and MOT and the all the tires are a year old.
The down side is, a small dent on the rear wheel arch. It was there when I bought it so I was aware of it. I'm now looking at getting it repaired before I decide on what to do.
