Aston F1 Safety Cars - great move!

I’m in the Far East on business and was watching the Barhain F1 in the hotel and following a few F1 forums simultaneously.
So, during Safety Car periods there was great footage of the Astons and people’s reactions were extraordinary - in a very good way!
So many comments such as wow those Astons sound fantastic.... sound so dirty ... look so awesome ... etc.
I couldn’t quite believe the totally positive reaction - normally no comments about pace cars, even tho the Mercs themselves sound like NASCARS.
A great move to get new enthusiasm and cache for the Aston brand. They may even end up back in rap music videos like back in the VH Vantage days ??

Agreed. Awesome move and when the commentators were at the front of the grid, there it was. Looked great especially from the side, rear view seen then.
Eventually be a fight by manufactures for that slot. Perhaps there is now?

(As Mercedes F1 get to grips with there car AM F1 will become better also. Mainly looking like higher rake cars losing less stability at the rear. The AM F1 car looks awesome too.)

They do use the same basic engine, but Bert Mylander apparently said the Vantage is lighter and faster though the corners 
Yes a great move indeed. Everything fits together so well.
Often there might be no requirement for a safety car. No problem now.
Possibly SB might 'misunderstand' a radio call from the
Aston Martin F1 team and so immediately stops his car in a dangerous position.
The Aston Martin Safety Car then appears on the worldwide TV broadcast. Perfect.
Was it Ford who said, 'Win on Sunday, buy on Monday' ?

Well yeah, that’s absolutely right. Maybe exhaust tuning is different to grab attention.Maybe also a bit of sound enhancement like the add for the F1 cars .... what’s sauce for the goose ..
But the visual impact was also seen to be good

Just like to point out the following though
1.) Don't put your hands all over the Onyx Black paintwork ! especially if you've got suntan cream on - which you should have given the weather.
2.) Please knock your shoes off before getting back in the car. That sand will wreck your sill plates
3.) There's no way those rear tyres will move any of the cars an inch on the beach
