The Queen Yesterday.

I thought the Queen and her hubby threw caution to the wind yesterday when she carried on with her public engagements and then went back to the palace in an open top range rover,i know the place was crawling with security but even so thought it sent out a clear F**k you message to the terrorists,anyone else notice this,made me feel quite proud.

I was delighted when she broke with tradition and gave a short speech in the Royal London Hospital canteen on Friday - "you won't change the way we live our lives".

Storming stuff.

I was relieved when The Palace gates closed behind the Range Rover.

I really noticed that when they were about to leave the balcony, her maj waved to the crowds, but it wasn't a typical uptight 'royal' wave. It was more of a relaxed, 'emotional' wave. She and Phil seemed genuinely pleased to be there, rather than it being a civic duty...

I'm not a royal-watcher by any stretch, but yesterday's events made me proud that we do these things better than most...

Actually it was more of a range rover pickup. Looked pretty good too.


I think old Phil had a damn good day yesterday. He looked like he really enjoyed himself. Spose he's just an 80odd year old bloke like the rest of em.

I noticed it didn't carry any number plates. Did she get off the Congestion Charge then?
