Active Tourer F45 Radio pre-set numbers question.

On the present set up on the radio on the Active Tourer F45 2015 the numbered buttons 1 to 4 select Radio BBC 1 to BBC 4 when pressed. I have gone into the radio DAB settings and saved the channel I want (Gold) and numbered it "1" and saved it but the buttons on the radio console are still all BBC. How can I make my choice to work and numbers I want ?

You need to go old school here; when on the Radio screen, manually select the channel you want, then press and hold the button you want to correspond to that, until you hear the beep. Saving channels as you did it is the memory list, and does not correspond to the buttons.
By the way, you know you can store other things on the buttons? They are shortcut buttons, so you can set them to show fuel consumption or the map instead of presetting to a radio station.

The other short cuts you mentioned, are these in the owner's book or is there a google link anywhere that you know of ?
They sound very useful for a quick look info'.

I'm genuinely not sure if they are in the owners manual, but essentially you get the screen to show what you want it to show, then press & hold the button you want to programme.
