LSU4.9 lambda with the longest cable
Discussion
Hi does anybody happen to know any vehicles fitted with a LSU4.9 wideband but which has a very long cable .. you can buy extension cables but if I'm replacing the sensor anyway it would be preferable to have one with a very long cable.
To add, it's not for a car it's for the wideband on my dyno .. the cabling is a bit short and when i next replace the sensor I'd prefer to replace it with something which has a very long cable attached ..
any ideas ?
cheers.

Fair comment .. I was also mindful of not adding extra connectors or joints for an extension cable (though they are commercially available so I'm possibly reading too much into this) and therefore thought that a sensor with a longer cable would be the best way of doing it.
cheers
I can't see a problem with extra joints, the signals being read are pretty large. Alternatively, mount the amplifier close (ish) to the dyno and run the serial/analogue data lead out to the control point. ie have a standard short loom between the sensor and the amplifiercheers
