Hi Guys (and for the red jago brigade......Hi Gays)
Just kidding Mark!
Anyone able to help me with the following parts.
I have a Pinto engined Geep. Having had the engine out for a major restoration I seem to have 'misplaced' some of the engine mount bolts. So if anyone has four of these that they can send/sell to me that would be a great help. Saves the engine hanging out on driving!
Also, i am replacing the spark plugs. The engine is mildly tuned and is fitted with, what i believe are, non-standard plugs. They are NGK AP6F S. Anyone know why this should be and if standard plugs are OK to replace these. If not are these still available?
Is this a question for 'the Doctor' perhaps. What do you think/know Dave?

will ask the guy whose breaking the escort if he has any bolts lying about
plugs hmmm would need a spark plug book to see what plugs are standard and the variation from standard
it only states the motorcraft plugs in the pinto manual i'm looking at
bf22 1600
bf32 2000
which is of no use
will write your plugs down and have a look in accessory shop next time i'm there

Hi John
Is it the bolts that fasten the mounting to the block? if so I should have some off the 1600 Pinto block I just scrapped.
Standard NGK plug for 2.0 Cortina/Capri is AP6F-VG , AP6FS is the coppper core alternative , hope this helps.

Before I seek legal advice for the many slurs made recently on my character can we just clarify here what we are refering to .......
A - gay person who owns a red Jago
B - person who owns a gay red Jago
C - anyone who keeps their Geep clean
D - pick on Tonka no matter what
E - someone who lives North of Birmingham

Apologies to John for hi-jacking his thread this afternoon!
With the way it has gone perhaps the heading should have read "Belt up"

I presume this is an appropriate time to add "BUM BUM" as Basil Brush used to say, never saw him in a Red Jago though- he much preferred that Sylvan shade. ( GreeN)
Technical question:
What colour Jago would Frankenstein have driven if he had the privelage and necessary training/ licence etc?
