Is my TV tuner to blame?
Discussion
Can TV internal tuners fail?
The bedroom TV, an older Panasonic has slowly been loosing its channels through poor signal. Now only ch 1-5 HD channels work.
I moved the BT box up there to test, and with the same aerial input all channels are present.
Downstairs TV is also fine.

It's possible that if your local transmitter has undergone frequency changes then your current aerial is no longer the optimum one & the Panasonic is having trouble with the weaker signal strength. You could spend a bit on getting an installer out to have a look & measure the signal at the wall outlet & if it's ok then you know it's the TV. You can use an external box like an Humax PVR recorder or similar or there are DTT tuners on Amazon for quite reasonable prices.
