early Aston prices.
Discussion
I get the impression that prices for early Db9s and vantages has bottomed out and has even started to increase. Ive got a 2004 DB9 and quiet often for novelty value run it through, we buy any car. Had some laughable offers over the last 24 months down to as low as £15k, just ran it through again and its up to £22k. I appreciate that these prices are often seasonal but £22k for a no hassle quick sale isnt too bad in my opinion.
It's hassle selling to WBAC as when you take it to one of there centres they'll find anything to drive the price down, sometimes the price quoted is alot higher than the actual price paid.
If I was going to sell my DB9 (which i'm not) I would sell it privately, or goto Bamford Rose to use their facebook sellers/buyer portal.

No intention of selling , was just surprised at the price they were offering and if it’s a reflection on the state of the used market at this moment in time
Yeah your correct, I think it's bottomed out with the DB9, although the cars with very high miles and in poor condition will always sell for less.I think with all electric & hybrid by 2030 and depending that the cars aren't taxed off the road the value may even rise, it will be interesting how the government treat ICE classic cars and how much car tax will rise, we should be ok until probably 2040.
Unleaded petrol is changing with E10 coming in and in the future if more bioethanol is used we might need to add a fuel additive to our fuel tanks and might be less petrol stations as some will be just charging stations.

Im not usually tracking the used car market but looked recently to help someone else out and surprised how well values are doing and how strong some prices are. Perhaps real world inflation is running a tad higher than the government figures ....
Second hand cars are a component of the CPI. But you need to remember both that CPI is a lagging indicator, and the fact that the price of s/h Astons will not influence it in the slightest.Prices did creep up a bit
I was lucky (I hope) when I bought a 2008 Vantage roadster with 40K mileage in 2019 for the total sum of 18K.
I had the clutch replaced and did a major service so all in all around 23K spent and another 20K miles added
I am guessing I can get my money back with a little bit more but I still love my Aston so I will keep it
