I rarely eat breakfast anymore as I have no appetite for toast, cereal or anything like that anymore. Looking for some alternatives as not eating is really messing with my ability to focus, and the sheer amounts of Espressos aren't doing great for my stomach. A friend of mine in the US has steak for breakfast quite often which seems weird to me but quite appealing

Breakfast is boring.

Eggy bread, fried is about my favourite. Before bacon.

Eggy bread is by far my favourite but I always heat the pan up too hot in a rush and end up smoking the house out laugh steak and eggs is a good shout

Bacon sandwich
Egg on toast
Beans on toast
All of the above.

Poached egg on seeded bread toast is my go to, sometimes with beans too.

My go to at the moment is either;

Omelette with some kind of meat in it, black pudding is my new favourite.
Overnight oats with protein powder and chia seeds.

Us British are pretty set in our ways about what we should be eating for breakfast. Fact is, you can eat anything you want really.

I sometimes have ramen, usually one of the obscure Korean / Japanese instant packets. hot and satisfying, and no worse than some sort of bacon / sausage sandwich.

I love it when visiting Thailand, the breakfast buffett is always full of the weird and wonderful, the wife still insists on cereal though!!

Try My Protein Whole Fuel shake with a handful of frozen berries in it. It takes two minutes to make & will keep you going until lunchtime.

Some go-to's:

Bagel based:

Smoked Salmon and cream cheese/avocado
Bacon
Honey and banana

Bread/other:

Smashed avo and eggs (fried/poached) on toast
2x hash brown, bacon or sausage and egg in a wrap
Overnight oats with some berries/seeds and a touch of honey is also nice

I was in the US a couple of years ago and cake seemed popular for breakfast.

I've been having a Huel ready-to-drink bottle most weekday mornings for the last year or so for this exact reason.
Only really fancy cooked breakfasts these days and I'm keeping those to be an occasional weekend treat.

I'm never ready to eat first thing

I find that if I get up early - get out for a run or a walk with the dog.

Make a coffee

Then I can contemplate my appetite - about an hour and a half after waking.

Sometimes it's porridge or muesli

or Omelettes and scrambled egg are good

or Fresh fruit yoghurt nuts and honey

very occasionally full English

Whatever I do I'm still starving by 1100

I do eggy wraps.
Tortilla in the hot pan, crack & spread one egg across it & it cooks through the wrap (maybe turn briefly at end)
Load it with leftovers or cooked ham & roll up & eat!

Square/Lorne/Slice sausage is a doddle at breakfast as only needs turned once unlike “normal” sausages.

My different/healthy breakfast is a bit of smoked haddock & spinach in the steamer (both are always in my freezer for when I fancy)
