Hello all,

Hoping for some correct information about a potential brake upgrade to my 2013 F30 330d.

Currently have standard single piston setup all round with 330 mm disks all round.

I'm pretty sure that one or both of my front brakes are toast. I replaced front disks and pads a couple of thousands miles ago (around 2 months) due to excessive shaking under braking. The juddering has now returned.

Through a bit of research, I am now aware that 335i/d models came with 340mm Brembo up front with single piston 330mm rear as standard (unless specced with MPerf).
The 340mm will also fit under 18 inch 400m alloys.

I want to upgrade my front brakes to match the 335i/d setup of 340mm Brembo front and retain the single piston rear 330mm.

Apart from calipers and disks, will I need any other additional hardware? Brake disc shields?
Will I need to code my car to tell it now has upgraded brakes?
Will I need to change my master cylinder?

Thank you
