BMW 5 touring

Had a 2011 530d, currently have a VW Toureg and have been considering either a 2018 530d touring or an A6 50 TDi
Anyone with a touring got any advice? X drive??

I had a 2015 touring and it was great.

I've driven the 2017 3-series with x-drive and it was st. Terrible in the rain, it was a crap 4 wheel drive system, if you can even call it that.

I have a G31 540i xdrive msport, it’s brilliant. Need to know anything specific?

Btw, loads of people go on about how the xdrive is a rubbish four wheel drive system. It’s not a pure 4x4, it’s all wheel drive, there is a subtle difference. On the 5, most of the power goes to the rear wheels. I hated the xdrive when it came out yrs ago, but it’s far better now. The runflat tyres make far more difference to the vehicles handling than the xdrive system. I can’t wait to ditch the runflats.
