I don't see why a US secret aircraft would fly into Boscombe down or still be secret 30 years later. The towed decoy sounds reasonable enough to me.

See also 'WW2 Bomber found on Moon...' because with the whole of the Nevada desert and various other sites around the world away from prying eyes the best place to test highly classified aircraft is next to the A303...

Highly likely linked to the CIA and their operations to deliberately leak stuff to known theorists in order to hide what was really going on. More than likely some secret stuff with spying.

117 was flying here from the early 90's as was just about anything secret. No new here lol!

117 was officially revealed in the late eighties, it certainly wasn't here before that, too many plane spotters around.
