Hmmm - after my first cerb had an engine rebuild it wouldnt idle well for a little while. Just needed to sort its maps out etc... So I reckon you just need to give it a few runs.

Ours wouldn't idle before the last service - turned out the throttle pots were just WAY out.... A re-balance later & all was well again (along with the service).....

Had mine only few weeks, having idling problems and sometimes running rough. Took it back to dealer I bought it from, they are still trying to nail down problem. so far they have replaced 1 cat that was blocked, checked lamda sensors but still not quite got to the bottom of the problem yet.

Plug, what did the dealer tell you had happened to your engine to require a rebuild?

I too did have this problem thought it was t pots but was solved by replaceing both coil packs, and the good old service, now runs like a dream. Hope you get it sorted.

It was somthing to do with three exhaust valves going soft, not sure of the problem but they said it was a very rare fault.

Thanks, as you say sounds fairly rare so won't jump to any conclusions just yet.
