RIP

A good innings though. If I make it to that age, with all my marbles, I will count myself very fortunate.

Sad news. He was certainly a character and I suspect played a significant part in the queen being the wonderful monarch she has been and continues to be.

Rest In Peace.

Another WWII veteran leaves us, a highly decorated one at that.

He had a good run. I always liked his plain-speaking style. At least he won't have to watch the Harry and Meghan saga carry on.

Radio 1 is playing god save the queen. They just stopped whatever they were playing then the output across all the stations changed due to the significance.

After watching The Crown I agree. It really humanises him seeing the younger Phillip.

RIP Phil. Regardless of what people might think of Royals, it feels like a loss of someone who has been an ever present for us all.

Thoughts to the Queen & rest of Family. Penny for Harry and Meghan's thoughts right now.
