How often should we change Spark Plugs? Is there a website where I can find information about changing intervals for spark plugs, oils and filters?

Cheep type plug often 20-30k

Irridum plus 50-70k quite common

on my 1982 Mini City E, #1 plug needed changing every 1500 miles or it would stall the car going round left hand bends. The other three plugs would last for ages.
