Hi all

Ive just agreed a sale of my daily (toyota iq) and i need to get a new daily bought sharpish.

Im off work until Thursday so would like to have bought it before then.

I need about £1500 more for the new car and cant work out how to finance this.

My ISA is going through a transfer so i cant withdraw from that and I dont get paid until the end of the month.

Can i expect a credit card money transfer to reach my account in that time?

Thanks

As long as you already have the credit card money transfers are usually fairly instant.

The cards i already have, dont have any 0% transfer offers.

Ive been "pre approved" for a zopa loan at 8% with no early repayment fees and money within 2 hours. Im going to try for this i think and just repay asap.

Your bank may authorise you an overdraft to.cover it if you have a decent rating with them and you can pay it back quickly.

You can normally get a loan from your bank pretty damn fast if not instantly. 8% sounds bonkers.

sounds bonkers to you, but work it out and it's £120 a year. If he only needs it for a few days then it's really not a lot for the convenience

Is the car you're buying from a dealer ?

If so can't you just ring up and use your credit card to pay a £1500 deposit then pay it off when you get your next statement,
It's what I've done in the past.

Hi all, lots of good ideas.

I chose the Zopa loan because they said the money was within 2 hours, i was pre approved, the APR was final and i am going to pay it off asap anyway.

Thanks

P.s. Zopa's money was in my account within 20 minutes!
