Watches World - any experience?
Discussion
Does anyone have any experience of buying a watch via Watches World? I presume they are grey imports but they have an impressive near 25% discount on a Panerai GMT that I am interested in for my 40th birthday. The Chrono24 and Trustpilot reviews seem good and also being able to pick it up in store is reassuring.
Happy to get any advice.

I asked a similar question a few weeks back, there seem to be people who have tried to buy but they couldn't deliver. They also didn't reply to an email I sent and the main phone number doesn't work, only a mobile number so it was a no from me.
I then sent an email to Dominic Hackett who has great reviews on here, he replied pretty much straight away but couldn't price what I was after until this week when retail opened again. So hoping he will come up with a good price for what I'm after.

Heard back from Watches World today, with a price that almost seems too good to be true (28% discount on a new Breitling versus circa 17% odd elsewhere).
I need to do a bit more diligence on the seller, the price makes it a no brainer but it almost has me worried that it's TOO good a price...

I have sent them an email also but haven't heard back yet, I wanted to know their sourcing and warranty arrangements. I have asked to go up and try the watch on before committing.
From the due diligence point of view Trustpilot and Chrono24 reviews seem to be good - although easily faked. They are registered on companies house. Keep me posted with what you find out.
I agree, the prices do seem too good to be true!

Can recommend them myself. Watch arrived today, after a 6 week wait which I expected as plenty reviews state they don’t always have the stock and likely bringing in from Europe.
Watch came well packaged with all warranty cards and been on Panerai site to extend the warranty which was all fine as well.
Rrp was £5,700 and bought it all in for under £4,350 shipped so really pleased.
As long as your willing to be patient on the shipping, then a great watch supplier at great prices.
