Mine came from the eBay, cheap as chips (mains powered version). And Mrs does it for me, after 2-3 cuts it has paid for itself. Happy Days!!

She does a better job than most barbers too, after a bit of guidance.

I got some clippers from Manchester Uniteds online shop for £28 when everyone was after clippers. Apart from being red and a small Man U badge they are perfectly useable remington clippers. Remington sponser Man U. Used them 4 times so they have paid forvthemselves compared to barbers pricing.

I will be going to a proper barbers to get a proper tidy up before I go back to work in May though.(hospitality)

Bought a Wahl corded clipper set from Argos this time last year and my wife cuts my hair every couple of weeks. She has no hairdressing/barbering experience yet manages to do a great job. Absolutely no worse than an average barbers. No 2 round the back and sides, blended to No 3 a bit higher up, then cut shortish with scissors on top.

Don't think I'll bother going back to the barbers at this rate. It is far more convenient to be able to do it at home in 10 mins whenever required.

The clipper set was £11. Pretty much the same price as one trip to the barbers.

I've probably spent £400 in the last 3 years on clippers since I finally accepted I was going bald, and it was time to No.0 all over.
By far and away these are the best clippers I've owned, and they were only £22 when I bought them in December, the quality of them is incredible.

Best to just get some shaving gel in the shower if your bald and using clippers. It takes 20 seconds and your heads left all minty mmmm. (Gel dependant)

Actually went for the closest shave I've ever had at one of them local arab barbershops recently.
Very nice experience.
I look even more ste than normal with an unshaven face or beard on videocalls you see.

Mine got to this length last June, and enough was enough. That was growth from about October onwards as I was travelling in South Am. from November until last March when we came due to Covid.

Missus got some scissors and I had some clippers so keep it all trim now.

No suprisingly good. Im not a Man U fan by any stretch but desperate times calldd for desperate measures. Apart from being a jolly colour they are the real deal. They are these but in red with yellow red and black clipper blades.
