Mail Redirection, any idea why ?

Got a letter for HMRC with a sticker over the address saying "REDIRECTION - FIRST CLASS".

Opened it, and its not address to me, its a Mrs Byrne from about 4 miles away, different taxpayer reference and not even similar addresses ?

Just pop it in the post to Mrs Byrne and think no more about it ?

Hmm could be a mistake, but to protect yourself I’d be Tempted to keep hold of it and see if any more turn up.

Or post an empty envelope to the original address and see if it turns up at yours

For cost of stamp it worth it to know

I managed to find the person quite easily as she is an ex director of a couple of companies from that address.

I think its prob a mistake.
