Hi everyone.
I've just had a letter from EON giving me an appointment date to fit a SMETS2 smart meter.. Previous letters on this subject allowed cancellation and not having the meter fitted, but this no longer seems to be an option?! I cancelled appointments previously because of some of the questions and doubts being raised over these smart meters.
I'm just looking for opinions on these latest meters.. it looks like they are now a compulsory fit.. Thoughts welcome....

Eon fitted my smart meter, from day 1 it never worked, they couldn't get it to connect to the network and gave up, so now it's just a meter and I've switched to octopus energy. Eon could not have given less fks about it or keeping me as a customer? Very weird.
