Most accurate weather site/app?

I usually check the BBC and I think my app on my phone is the weather channel.

They often get it so wrong! There must be something out there that's vaguely accurate? Planning your day is tricky at the moment what with the cold temps then not knowing if it'll be sunny or not!

Dark Sky is very reliable and uncannily accurate to the minute as to the likelihood of rain.

I find the MetOffice app is pretty accurate, and Rain Radar.
My wife insists on using the BBC and it's usually wrong!

There is really no answer to the right app. But the wrong app... it's the BBC. They dumped the MetOffice and went with a different supplier. They usually use a chart which is 12-24 hours older than some others (no one knows why). But when predicting live weather, being that far out can be VERY different.

Since the Met Office moved to Exeter they've consistently got the weather wrong for Exeter. Perhaps instead of billion pound Cray supercomputers, they might actually try just looking out the window...

I tend to find BBC quite accurate actually, XCweather has been decent in the past and I like the way they do mm of rain rather than percentage chance.

If you are on iOS, I would recommend it without hesitation and I believe the data is being integrated in to the native weather app.

Have bought it just now, and it looks like today may stay dry most of the day! Fingers crossed.

For very accurate rain forecast in the vicinity for the next two to four hours AccuWeather is very good.
I also use Wunderground as my go-to for daily forecast.
For current conditions at home I have Netatmo.

XC Weather.

I've not found a more accurate weather service than them, I can almost set my watch by what they predict.

The only thing I use to look for rain is the rain radar in met office app

Replay last x hours and then watch the predicted x hours

Try and spot the general direction / trend

No thing changed then? When they were in Bracknell if they said the south of England was sunny it was pissing down elsewhere. if rain was forecast it was sunny elsewhere. Brewery and parties spring to mind

Having been into London for my client lunch, I have to confirm that Dark Sky wasn't too accurate on the rain forecast.

Easily the most accurate weather forecasts I've ever used.
