2011 Passat 2.0 TDI 140 Hesitation / Judder
Discussion
I've had my Passat for about 3 months now. It's got 102k on it and was last serviced back in January.
In the last couple of weeks I've noticed a hesitation/judder at around 1800rpm. Doesn't matter what gear I'm in but when it happens it feels like you've jabbed the brakes very quickly and then it clears.
I've only noticed it on a motorway and the car is warm.
If I accelerate it powers through no problem and doesn't happen all the time.
I've read several posts about people with similar issues but none have described the exact same issues or it's been at a different rpm or when the car is cold.
I also read that there is a mapping problem on partial throttle.
Any clues or ideas where I could start looking?
If it's just a quirk of this engine then so be it.
