F31 330d MSport front driver side suspension dropped

I had a rattle which I took to Swindon BMW last year and they couldn't find anything. The rattle sounded like a mechanic had left a spanner in the engine somewhere and only over bumped in the road. Nothing found. No leaking shocks, no rust. So I left it so see it it got worse.

Well it did. This morning I noticed the car had dropped on the front drivers side to the extent the steering can't be turned. I'm just glad it happened while I wasn't driving it. The wheel is up into the arch can't be turned.

Summat has broke. The car is a 63 plate and done 100k. Its recorded about 2 thousand mile is the last 15 months. Just haven't used it. I think the car has adaptive suspension.

Could I ask what my options are apart from getting it recovered to BMW Swindon or Oxford. Its not driveable.

Your option is to get it recovered to any other garage of your choice.

Just sounds like a spring has snapped so I'm sure somewhere other than BMW Swindon can help you out with such an issue.

Id replace both springs though as the other side is probably not far behind.
