Stalling

After fixing the cooling problem, which was the sender unit not the engine running to hot, engine runs really well until I come to a standstill. It coughs and stalls. From startup it ticks over perfect, about 950. Rev it a bit and let it die down, sometimes it levels out and ticks over but mostly it stalls. Starts again first click to tickover perfect. Any ideas? Hopefully noy another TP.

Maybe the Idle Speed Control valve needs a clean?
It's easy to take apart (and reassemble!)

Already done that one. Just diconected TP and car comes down to tick over. So seems it might be that. It was the TP that was on the engine when it got cooked so possibly it was affected then. Gonna try wrapping knew one in foil to keep the heat down a bit.
