Is there an App or anything that can make accurate searches on FB Marketplace ?

The FB search is more a random advert generator, I presume the idea is that it keeps you on there longer as it couldn't be that awful by mistake.

I've tried minimising terms from "KTM 990" to "990" but it still brings up loads of irrelevant ads and worse still misses some 990's

Good idea but that then brings up mostly USA ads and includes T Shirt, parts etc

I tried adding "uk" but it didn't seem to like it

I'd be happier if it even kept the price between searches or if it saved searches

You can change the settings for distance, but I agree it's a bit poor.

Unfortunately they don't make money if you instantly find the item you want and arrange to buy it off the seller. They have to make it unhelpful to maximise the time you spend browsing so they can get the ad revenue rolling in. Otherwise, it isn't profitable.

That's what I thought

The problem being that I buy lots of stuff but I buy 90% off ebay as it's search actually works

I rarely use Marketplace as after 5 minutes I get frustrated with it

Me too!

It's just rubbish. Even worse than Amazon.

I can barely find my own sale items in my own sale group.
