Porsche PCCM

Hi Guys, can somebody please clear this up as Porsche won’t clarify. I want to purchase the Porsche PCCM unit for my 996 but do not want the plus version, I want just the single dim unit to replace my existing and original radio. Porsche state that the the single dim version is for pre 996 models and the PCCM Plus is for 996 and latter. If I was to purchase the plus I would have to start moving around my other controls down to the centre console which I want to remove altogether so that is not an option and I don’t want a big screen in my old 996. My question is why would the PCCM dingle dim not simply fit into and replace my existing radio? I can’t return this item to Porsche hence need to be 100% sure. Thanks

If I was you I would talk to Jasmine and see if they have something in stock rather than the OPC mark up.
