Clear Front Indicators

I am about to buy some of these but just wanted some advice on the installation procedure.
It would seem you need to unscrew the plate in front of the wheels and then unscrew the indicator from behind. Is it then just a case of putting the new on on and re-screwing in back into position.

Thanks nervous, I do remember reading that at the time and thought it sounded 'bloody' difficult!
Think I will spend the time doing something else. Surely body shop people can't go through this nightmare? Wonder if there is a way of just smashing the old ones out and then simply replace with new units?

wit. this will affect our perspective.I did mine post-nervous and my top tip is to use a little bit of (quick drying) glue to hold the lenses in place before squirting loads of mastic around.
The mastic takes far longer than my attention span to 'set' and my first attempt (using just mastic) resulted in the front of the car (and the dog) getting covered in sticky blackness.....

The glue suggestions sounds a good un. I have recently fitted clear lenses and found the biggest problem was holding/supporting the lens in place whilst waiting for the mastic to go off. I have small hands and thin arms and still found holding the lens in place very fiddly. I ended up using a bit of broom handle inserted from the access plate to hold the lenses in place whilst the mastic went off. My problem was the mastic would not support the weight of the lens unaided prior to the mastic going off. A possible obvious point but I ensured that the pattern and markings where the same way up for both sides i.e. with text upright.
I used a bit of string on a hook tied to a rock to hold it in place.

I bought the fron lenses from a company called Marcus Glenn

It worked out at about £40 for the pair inc. VAT and postage. They are brand new, you can find 2nd hand ones cheaper but new ones are hard to come by. They are off landrovers and NATO spec vehicles.
Side indicator came off ebay, I went for slightly smoked ones to match the silver, but you can get just about any colour you want. Chav it up!

I also got some new bulbs as the existing are clear, you can get orange bulbs from Halfrauds for a couple of quid. I opted for some Philips silver vision to avoid fried egg look and you get a nice blue shimmer behind the lense.

The last thing you need is mastic, a couple of quid from Homebaseor B&Q etc. I used the 24hr setting stuff hence the string.
Fitting is pretty easy, I found that by just taking the front plate off access was easy enough. May be a bit harder on a Cerb, but I've had a look and doesn't look all that.
1. Simple gentley push the old front lenses into the car to break the mastic.
2. Unclip the block connectors about 20cm up the wire from the back of the lense and remove whole unit including the screw on bulb holder.
3. You'll see from the old lenses how they were held in place. Clean the area inside the front bumper that the mastic will bond too with some white spirit or similar.
4. Put new lenses in place without the screw on bulb holder, these will need securing in place. I used string and some sticky back picture hooks, in hindsight a bit of hot melt glue or superglue would have worked just as well.
5. With the lenses in place mastic them in as per the orginals, you have to make sure its upright and well pushed in and also doesn't foul the threads for the bulb holder.
6. Wait for it to dry, I left it for a day and a half.
7. Put new bulbs in holders, screw on to lenses, re connect block connectors
8. Put hazzards on to test and replace front plate.
Side indicators are just clipped in and pull out. Take care not to mark paint. These are a straight forward replace.
