Guessing a few on here are viewers? For those who aren’t its a YouTube channel following the day to day business operations of a successful Dallas watch trading business ran by Anthony and Marco.

Decent viewing and a very honest look into the US market.

A casual watcher here. It’s pretty interesting, but I find myself fast forwarding through much of it. Too much footage of them walking/driving around, chit chatting, etc.

Anyway, I would say that they don’t appear to be very prudent with their spending on the “lifestyle” stuff. $17,000 for a birthday meal, Audi R8 V10 plus, talk of buying a Lambo, etc. They also always seem to be handling st loads of hard cash as well, which at the very least raises an eyebrow.

From what I’ve gleaned, their profit margin is around 6-8% which is fairly modest, and I would suggest could be improved considerably if they didn’t spunk so much on living it up.

I watch it occasionally.

It is very well filmed and edited. Like a professional TV show, which is what they are going for when you listen to them discuss their channel.

I really like the fact they are totally transparent. It gives you a really interesting and eye opening look into the world of watch dealers and tells you all the stuff you actually want to know such as: Where they buy their watches from, how much they pay for them, what their profits are, who they sell to, what demand is like, how other dealers behave.

They talk openly about flippers and people buying from AD’s and then selling straight to them for a big mark up.

I also like the fact they openly name and shame others traders/dealers who try to back of deals.

All the juicy stuff that other watch dealers don’t tell you about and pretend it’s all a big secret.

I don’t like, as mostly pointed out in the post above, is the fact that a lot of episodes are padded out with footage of them driving around, walking somewhere, going for lunch, sitting talking etc.

Their constant ‘splashing the cash’ as soon as they can afford it is also very ‘American’ and tiresome. They will blow money on things I would consider frivolous and excessive, but then later in the episode they will be looking at the bank balance and then panic and have to sell some more watches as the business is running low on cash, or even have to sell their own personal watches to put money back in the till.

Here is the link to their channel if anyone is wondering what we are talking about:

I'm a casual watcher of it too, I do quite enjoy watching their episodes, it's something a bit different to a hand full of other watch channels I also watch which are usually straight watch reviews, I find it an interesting insight into the business
