Blind Autotrader Purchase - Payment?

Looking to buy a bike blind from Autotrader - I'm in Glasgow and bike is 300 miles away.

I've bought and sold a couple of bikes blind on eBay without any hassle. Used eBay for the transaction and PayPal for payment so you have an element of protection.

What's the best way of doing this on Autotrader? Going to arrange for a transport company to collect the bike and deliver to my house.

Bank transfer on collection? If I was the seller I would not be 100% sure about that? Any other method to consider that's fair/safe for both parties?

I'm not sure I understand what the difficulty is here. Surely, you just get your transport company to confirm the bike exists and transfer funds whilst they wait the 5 mins that takes? I've bought and sold countless times that way. I've never had a problem.
