I need to replace the rear tyres on my 2018 Vantage & currently have Pirelli P Zeros fitted, has anyone replaced their tyres with an alternative brand which they could recommend?

I had the opportunity to drive a dealer test car (new Vantage) with Pirelli P Zero on the race track. The tyres are perfect.
Buy the same tyre again.

I have a previous generation V12VS. I recently replaced the P Zeros with Michelin PS4S. So far they may be a bit better, but not night and day better as most of the hype suggests. If you just need rears then definitely replace with P Zeros, then replace all four with Michelin next time to try them.

I did the same on my db9.2 recently and very much like you, ps4s better but not transformational. Yesterday I was losing traction accelerating whereas it was rare with the p zeros, but vice versa in the corners. Maybe its pressures, I run 2 less psi than manufacturer specification all round? Does anyone here run them lower and if so what’s the wear pattern like?

From motorcycling and car tracktime I have always experimented with tyre pressures and how they affect handling. With the aston I find the manufacturer pressures a bit too hard which can unsettle the ride, so I drop 2 psi, which is a very small difference but enough to give the tyre more flex. On the p zeros it was about perfect and didn’t cause any abnormal wear, on the ps4s not so sure if its a bit too high still.

Are these normal p zeros? I had corsa’s on my V12VS and changed to PS4S and find them a better all round tyre. Interesting re the pressures, I’m running my new tyres a couple of PSI higher to compensate for what maybe slightly softer side walls.

I’d do as suggested above though, keep al four the same and change when all are ready
