DB9 Rear Parcel Shelf Removal

hoping for a little guidance , have got everything else out rear seats etc and am trying to remove the rear parcel shel central panel which effectively goes all the way from above the subwoofer to the 3rd brake light. Its loose at the front but cannot get it out, i understand there is a tang at the back but not sure how to disenage it - like the seats is it jut a hard yank but towards the front of the car ?

Any help or picture of what the panel looks like when its out would be greatly appreciated as the back of a db9 is not a pleasant place to operate at the best of times and i dont want to break anything !! - Car is an MY06 DB9
