Cayenne 2013 electrical issues after flooded cabin

Hi all..

I got the dreaded PSM failure soon after solving the footwell flooding problem on my 2013 Cayenne. I suspect the electrics have shorted and now the yellow light for 'check engine' has come and the engine dips into a rough (and slightly clanky) sound..

I've tried re-starting a few times but I can't clear it... also the start/stop failure light comes on.

Anyone has any suggestions? I probably need to get it into the garage but scared to drive it. I have seen something on Rennlist about getting the carpet up and finding the corroded wires.. any help gratefully rexceived
