Sister bought a 2016 Honda Civic Sports last year from one of these supermarkets, it has only covered 24,000 miles.

Started getting a fault warning and after plugging it in to a reader it gave the following code P1072 1 system to rich bank 1.

Vacuum Leaks

Oxygen Sensor

Mass Air Flow Sensor

Bad Fuel Injectors

Fuel Pump/Fuel Filter

The warning light is intermittent and goes of for periods of time of several days before reoccurring.

There is some sort of warranty on the car but the company wants £85 to put ot on a reader before it will look at any warrenty claims.

So anyone with thought on what it might be and whether it be covered by a warranty covered by the supermarket type of car sales, I think the company is car people.

I had a raft of errors like this that turned out to be down to a faulty coil pack. Start with the simple and cheap things. Does any of the wiring around the injectors/coils look dodgy? Maybe change spark plugs, or at least inspect and clean the plugs up. Clean the MAF. Does it indicate that a particular cylinder is at fault? If so, try swapping coil packs around and see if the problem follows.

Far easier to just pay the money and let them crack on, could be a number of things that will give you a headache chasing it down.

The car has a warranty, you are claiming on the warranty, that should not cost you any money!

The posters above make good points, I missed the fact that it would be under warranty. It's their problem, let them sort it out.
