I have the JoyAuto wireless Carplay
I have been using it for a couple of years and is one of the reasons I have not upgraded the car. Someone capable of building a PC should be able to install the pcb in the PCM. When buying the package you should be asked about the configuration of your PCM because some require longer stand offs.
I bought mine from Alibaba with out issue. I see it is now available on Amazon though. I had reason to contact JoyAuto and they responded immediately.
You can also mirror your phone screen if you are using the cable., I have not used this and hidden the cable. Finally, it also does the android equivalent of carplay.
Down sides....
Like all "bluetooth" products it takes a moment to connect. It seems at least as quick as connecting the phone to PCM though. Switching between carplay and PCM is a double click of the NAV button. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries. But, it does mean that all PCM functionality is maintained.
I leave the screen in the carplay screen always. I do not use carplay for audio though as I have satellite (US) radio. I have tested it though and it works perfectly. There is a microphone for siri. I have never used it though because I do not use siri in general. This microphone is not used for phone calls as you continue to use the original car microphone.
Oh....Make sure you watch a video on how to take the vents out and you will have mastered the most difficult part of the upgrade.

I bought one through a guy on the Cayenne owners fb page. It was about £200 and then took me 30 mins to fit.
Works really very well. It arrived from Hong Kong in a week too.
With this system it uses the cars original Bluetooth for audio so the quality is excellent.
