Are there any Speed Yellow GT3'S of the 997.2 flavour in the UK? I've never seen one and want to know if I'm searching for a unicorn or rocking horse p**

TIA

Thread here on PTS 997.2 GT3’s. No yellow cars mentioned. I regretted not buying the Riviera Blue car for a while....

IIRC that belongs to Alpinestar on here.

And there's a queue of people twisting his arm to sell to them too.

SY looks great but was very rare on the 997, but there were a few 996 GT3's in it. OP could always wrap if it's a keeper.

I remember RPM selling a blue PTS 997.2 RS a few years ago....was advertised for £230k IIRC and sold quickly. Think it would fetch more now though think it may have gone to Asia as a lot of cars did around that time.

La Source argues he's first in line to buy it, but I suspect this might well be hotly disputed.

I think we should make a list based on old threads as the definite order of expressions of interest smile

or I just get mine repainted [probably the more promising approach ...]

I've attempted the search too, but nope, there appears to be a sole 997.2 RS.

Here's the one at the Nurburgring I saw two years on the trot, just to wind me up...

So it seems that my choice of 997.2 GT3 colours is actually nom existent in this country.
Rubystone then, what are my chances?

There are barely any from what I've seen, I think it was a case of the UK dealers got more allocations as a result though.

Looks brilliant - also with these wheels.

A pity I didn't get a PTS slot at the time and had to settle for white. I'd have gone Riviera for the vanilla 7.2 GT3 though

Riviera Blue being I think the most common PTS colour - at least a couple of 997.2 GT3s in it!

I’d say non existent...there are probably a couple of cars hidden away nobody knows about but there only ones I have ever seen are the Mint Green, Riviera and the Grey/Black. And the idea of picking up a LHD car is a much more expensive option now thanks to Brexit.

I've only seen 1 Rubystone 997.2 GT3 and that was in a picture out the front of the Porsche Museum. Not sure if that was a customer's car or one of their own cars. Either way, looked stunning.

Indeed, Riviera was a popular PTS choice. To my eyes it just works brilliantly on the 997.2

I'll see if I can dig the picture out, but that one belongs to the Museum - saw it there on a mate's Stag do about 6 years ago. (Along with 918 no.000 - Yes, 000)
