Off to the first airshow of the season this Sunday, very much looking forward to it.
I went last year, simply because I was missing airshows and photography so much, thought I would take what I could, I had massively underestimated how good it was.
Typically it looks like the fine weather we have seen of late will have disappeared by then
It's sold out, but if you get a chance to go at any point, it will not disappoint!

The crowd position vis a vis the sun makes photographing the displaying aircraft very rewarding. Also, because it's a small airfield, you are closer to the action than at larger venues.
That was the biggest win for me Eric, despite being at the very back row, was still presented with some great photo opportunities.(I think the 200-500 lens helped though!)

I'm not really into planes at all but thats a quite staggeringly brilliant photo.I went last year, simply because I was missing airshows and photography so much, thought I would take what I could, I had massively underestimated how good it was.
