Ok - who is playing silly bu**ers with Ebay.

Last two days there have been about a dozen sellers putting up hundreds of items starting at £10. All adds have well written descriptions to make them look very genuine.

The types of items are:

mini diggers
trailers
tractors
caravans
lawn mowers
laptops
handbags
bicycles
motorbikes
golf equipment
fishing equipment
gym equipment
guitars
hot tubs
home cinema

the lists are endless.

Obviously totally fake since if it sounds too good to be true then its....
Its some sort of DoS Attack on Ebay. Flooding the system with fake auctions.
More importantly who is doing this - The Russians, The Chinese, The North Koreans.
I'm not sure since most of the stuff being sold tends to be collected by our cheeky O'Irish Friends.

Thanks for the heads up. I buy far too much from eBay and I’d hate to be caught out.
I’m well aware of the twunts advertising cars but I hadn’t realised it’s spread into more ordinary things.

eBay is full of money laundering, they try to keep on top of it, but it's a losing battle.

Usually though, it's when items are selling for MUCH more than they're worth, but it's also done with "best offer" items where the seller accepts a low ball offer and receives payment, but no item changes hands.
