Hi all

I need to get some new tyres for my 1964 Alfa Romeo Guilietta Sprint.

The Michelin X tyres currently on it are 155-380/155-15X. Am I right in saying that this translates to a 155/80/15 tyre in modern sizes?

Just wanted a sanity check before I order some.

Thanks.

Car in question....

Thanks guys. Appreciate the advice.

It’s a lovely thing. Bless the Italians, I wouldn't trust em with my wife or my money but they know how to design a car.

Just put new shocks on it today from Alfaholics. Was a bit soggy before. Much better now.

Bizarrely it’s by the most reliable and trouble free of all my classics. Completely contrary to what I expected.

Some more pics...

Just ordered replacement Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres for my similar car. They work very well on it. 155x15 size.

I'm not surprised it is reliable. Alfa build quality then was much higher then than later on. They are robust cars - perhaps why so successful these days in historic rallying. And fun to drive too!
