Hi all , been having trouble with miss fireing, she seems to be runing now on 6/7 cylinders i have replaced ht leads and are about to relpace dizzy cap and rotor arm ! can anyone send me a simlpe diagram of firing order just to double check ! or any other sugestions greatly recieved :shout:

Firing order is 18436572.

#1 is the cylinder nearest the distributor, #2 is the front cylinder on the other side of the engine, #3 is behind #1 etc.

Distributor arm goes clockwise when viewed from above.

Have you reset the ECU ?

The ECU doesn't control the timing (unless it's an aftermarket job)

Check the ignition amp connections too.

By the way if there has been a severe misfire you may find the plugs are fouled badly enough to continue the misfire even after you have put the other faults right. Clean plugs to be on the safe side.
