Nut size/thread for Triumph Spitfire boot handle

I'm hoping that someone will know the answer-

I've lost the nut for the end of a spitfire boot handle and need to know what thread they used so I can get the right replacement.

Does anyone know the answer?

I take it you're talking about a Mk 1/2/3, rather than Mk IV/1500.

Looking on the Canley Classics website it's a 1/4" think nyloc...listed as no longer available - https://www.canleyclassics.com/?catalogue=triumph-...

Would expect it to be UNF so any 1/4 thin nut would do (and eBay lists 1/4" thin nylocs...).

On the Mk IV/1500 it's just help on my a single little screw.
