Do people buy second hand lids?

I have a brand new RX7-V, left in box for a couple of months.. took it out when the sun came out, did the pinlock etc. but I find it so uncomfortable to wear that no point in keeping it. Just annoying that I cut off the tags etc. before trying it on.

Seems like the M sizing on this model is different to my other Arai helmets.

Yeah they sell. Just be honest with your description and take good pictures. I sell more stuff on gumtree or specific forums than on ebay because it’s too expensive.

Someone will comment about the wisdom of buying 2nd hand helmets, but that’s not what you asked.

I would if as described from you - i.e. essentially new.

Once worn for a while though I wouldn't be interested.

Decided to look at Arai support page and the RX7V has interchangeable linings (never had this model before) so I'm going to try this first.

I adjusted the last lid I bought that way - XL instead of 2XL, but retrofitted one of the foam inserts to get a better fit, like a glove now.

Remember you can take layers off the cheekpads on the RX7-V, I took one layer off for a great fit.
