Hi

I have the opportunity to buy a 530d 2013 model. The TfL checker doesn't have information based on the plate I entered. How can I determine if the car is ULEZ compliant? Is there a more technical route I can follow to find out? Thanks.

I think Euro 6 was introduced from 2015, so seems unlikely

can you get a look at the V5 as that'll tell you.

i think BMW introduced some euro6 compatibility in 2012 on the 5 series for the 520d and 530d. If its an LCI (63 plate onwards) i thought they were all euro 6 for the diesels?

Confirmed now as being ULEZ compliant. It was a post 2013 LCI model!! On the initial check the TfL website said it had no data but I then went to register the car and the page came up saying not required as TfL data found it was compliant.

Have you tried doing a quick reg lookup on the HPI tool?

I don't trust the TLF checker as it sometimes says my Euro6 320D is compliant, other days it says it isn't. At least my V5C tells me the truth!
