Has anyone taken a punt on one of these? Retailing on a well known internet auction site for £55!

I fancy putting one in my daily hack but don't really want to spend £300.

I bought one a few months ago for around £120 and it's a slow, laggy pile of poo. Planning on chucking it in the bin as soon as I can muster up the inclination to take bits of the interior apart to remove it.

I agree with the what has already been said, I bought one for my Scooby, slow, laggy, couldnt pick up any radio stations and the sound always sounded quite muffled.
I put up with it for around a month before i put in a used double din kenwood, £60 from the bay of E, instant night and day difference, suddenly all radio stations available and the sound was crisp and clear. My view, dont waste your money

I have a Pioneer SPH-10BT combined with an 8" SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab A, great range of features and a detachable, usable tablet for less than £200 - looked at the Android units and decided to ho my own route - not regretted it

Yeah that's sort of the route that I went after reading reviews of the Chinese stuff, I just fitted a tablet holder to the dashboard instead hehe
