I was looking at importing some products from Turkey last year and discussed with he factory in Jan/feb. I decided to hold off in early march and this was the reply I got.

Turkey factory said:
China solved the problem, I think 3 months is enough for everything. I’m glad to continue our talk during this time.

Cases mean nothing other than scary headline news. From the article:

"At its height in April, there were more than 60,000 new cases a day and more than 300 deaths." So 99.5% survival rate ...

So they're entering lock down some two weeks after their peak in cases and a week on week drop of 31% in cases. Makes sense.

That’s either genius, avoiding a double spike like we had last year, caused by education opening followed by (far too relaxed ) non essential reopening, or madness / shutting stable door after horsey has bolted.
