My 2003 GT3 RS is up for sale. Details are in the classified but a summery is red graphics and wheels FPSH White cage Aircon Litronic PCCB 11K miles £69950.

Hopefully this time someone who actually has the money will give me a call rather than the usual lottery hopefuls....

Good luck selling. Surely it will shift at that price. You've been very upfront about its usage too.

You might want to edit out the text about wanting 74k for it given that you seem to have lowered the price.

I wish people would put more miles on them, it makes it hard to run one not exculsively as a trackday car. Resale is going to be stuffed by trailer queen track day toys that have tiny mileage, but all at 8000rpm. Are they really that bad on the road?

Thanks Dan, Seemed to generate lots of interest from people who appear to have no intention of going through with the deal. Just can't understand it...

I have driven mine a great deal, mostly on the road. It is a much better car to drive than my previous GT3's. I would even go so far as to say it is very comfortable having driven it quite extensivly up and down the country and in Europe with no problems at all.

Possibly the last dual purpose Porsche, drive to your European track day, drive the car for two days on track and then drive home. No problem!

Nothing! Time to get serious at work for a year, I just dont get the chance to use it as I have previously.

Going to have some time away from the whole scene, going to be hard after 11 years of Porsche ownership!

Paul, couldn't agree more re: making a good road car.

I have now done 6k road miles in mine, and think it's fantastic. Never understood the journalists "too compromised for the road" bandwagon, clueless....

Best priced GT3 RS out there so it should go quickly at a give away price.... If I didn't have me Manthey'd MK1 it would be very tempting....

Yeah the price is tempting. I'm going to do a test drive in one at an opc as I'd put them out of budget but at 70k is just about possible.

I suspect a few may hit 70k in the next few months as it seems they've been sitting around for a while.

I can't help but wonder if these and GT2 have got a kicking in the press and will become highly desireable in 3-5 years.

Dan, Let me know how you get on during your test drive. Drop me a PM if you need any more info, I would rather it went to a good home where it is going to be used than become another trailer queen.

As for your comment I think you are correct. My Uncle owns two 73RS, one from new and the other from 1975. When he bought the car in 75 it was just about being given away... Now look at them...

Thanks Paul. I'm off on holiday for 3 weeks in a week though so I suspect I won't be of much use to you. Good luck on the sale though, your advert really gives the impression the car has been treasured.
