Wasn't sure where to park this one but heard yesterday that BT were looking to sell off BT Sport.
Could affect coverage of a number of different sports, MotoGP, Football etc I suppose depending upon who buys it.

I only watch Moto GP via EE, bit I’d be frustrated to find you had to sign up to ‘another package’, 95% of which I probably wouldn’t watch, for the one event I did.

I read that it might not simply be a straight sale, however, but may include getting in a JV partner.

I think they realise it’s not as key as it once was, but still costs a lot, regardless.

BT are looking for a partner or investor as the costs of sports rights increases. Fifteen percent was mentioned earlier and BT Sport wasn’t vanish but may allow a third party access to their content in return for cash going back to shareholders.

Hope it doesn't vanish. I mainly watch UFC and some footie/rugby union so if they lose those (UFC in particular) I would probably ditch it.
