Could "Snowdon to be renamed" thread be closed please?

Could you please consider closing the snowdon thread as someposters on it are displaying
a certain degree of hate against a race and culture.
In fact the basic premise of the thread is inaccurate or false.
There is similarity between Derry and Londonderry possibly?
