Heated gloves.
Discussion
My Mrs loved going pillion but she has got arthritis in her hands and suffers from the cold very quickly.
Normal gloves aren’t effective enough so I was thinking of heated gloves.
Any recommendations?
Battery ones would be most convenient but would they last a day’s ride ?
I’ve got a Sprint GT that has a plug in the top box but I don’t know if I can use that if the lid is shut. I need to investigate that.
If you've got a plug in the top box then you could drill a hole, pop a waterproof socket or plug in and have the wired gloves for your Mrs.
I've got some battery RST heated gloves and they last about 4h on the lowest setting on a single charge, but are very toasty at that if it's +ve temps.

keis, gerbing, warm n safe are probably the main ones
keis ones had for two years didn't appear very warm this season
battery or 12v power depends how long your wife is going to be out on the bike
on low battery setting gloves can last a good few hours, plugging yourself in can be a faff if you stop frequently
you could get oversize winter gloves with the glove liner

Wouldn’t the wire to the gloves be a bit off flaff unless you also have a heated jacket with the built in wiring and connectors?
If she was to buy gloves I’d be tempted to fix the wiring inside the jacket so she can pull the jacket off and on without disturbing them. There would be the power cable out the bottom of the jacket and the wires poking out of each sleeve just ready to connect up.
That’s the plan anyway.
